Halloween Version 2.0 @ The Metropolitan

For the past 20 years The Metropolitan/City Lights has been throwing the most fun filled, one of a kind, bad ass Halloween parties this side of the equator. Nationally recognized as one of the top 10 Halloween destination party spots in the country it has been our privilege to bring you one smoking debaucherous Halloween party after another.

It has been tradition for The Metropolitan to throw our Halloween Party the Saturday before Halloween. Since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, we present you with two massive Halloween Parties. The Haunted Halloween Bash is on Saturday October 24th, and Halloween V2.0 is on Saturday October 31st. On the night of our Haunted Halloween Bash we will hand out 1000 free passes for our Halloween V2.0 Party on the 31st.

Headlining the night is Deckstar Allstar DJ Fashen.

Always at the top of his game, DJ Fashen remains to be a leader in Phoenix’s ever growing world of up front music and hip-hop. Coming up this Saturday, September 19th, 2009 my Saturday Night residency (The Metropolitan/New Orleans) will be celebrating 20yrs in business. There is a lot of history in that building, especially being a party central for so long in a city like New Orleans, known for it’s revelry. The Metropolitan/Generations Hall (known at one time as City Lights) has been a staple in the New Orleans nightlife and this Saturday will be a great one as our family extends the invite for you to join us as we celebrate 20yrs and look forward to 20 more. I’m particularly excited because our headlining talent for the evening will be world famous Dj Jazzy Jeff, along with The Metropolitan resident DJs from today and yesterday.

EF Cuttin @ The Office [Lafayette] 9/8/09 for Tuesday Night HOUSE PARTY

EF Cuttin has been one of the top DJs in New Orleans since 1993, playing at all the major clubs in the N.O., from House of Blues to Tipitina’s Uptown. As time went on, Cuttin has had the chance to perform with and open for some of the industry’s top players including The Black Eyed Peas, Wyclef, The Roots, Mos Def and many more. EF also dabbles into the industry through radio, breaking records and having made plenty of valuable connections in the industry. He has travelled as a tour dj for many artists going everywhere from New York, Chicago, Detroit, Oakland and all points between. He became the resident DJ for the Hookah Cafe in October of 2006, transforming what was simply a lounge into one of THE hotspots in the city, 2 years and running. He has made plenty of guest appearances on Shadyville Radio on Shade 45 Sirius Satellite Radio, pushing a lot of our local flavor to the masses. An accomplished producer/DJ/and industry tastemaker that is always pushing the envelope and breaking boundaries. Whatever you need .. EF Cuttin’s got it!

They have a collaborative effort in a tag team duo called “Force Feed Radio” which is popularly branded and makes them well known for their versatile party rockin’ style and cutting edge sound.
